Honestly, I don’t know. Insurances are difficult to work with and each plan is different. This is why I highly recommend you contact your insurance to determine if they will reimburse you and what is needed to submit a claim. I will provide a report and a Superbill for you to submit. The rest is up to you.

You can complete the Contact Form or call or text (805) 229-1480 to schedule a free 15 minutes consultation. If you decide to work with me, we will schedule an evaluation. Once you are scheduled, I will send you paperwork and consents via email. These forms must be returned to me at least 3 days before the appointment time to insure that I have all the information necessary and to save time at the evaluation.

While I prefer seeing you and your child in your own home, if this is not an option, we can schedule a telehealth or virtual appointment. You should be aware that telehealth has limitations and makes it difficult to do a thorough oral motor evaluation. However, I can evaluate feeding skills and make recommendations. Telehealth is also valuable when addressing other areas of development which might be affecting feeding such as motor delays and sensory processing difficulties.

I ask that you cancel your appointment at least 24 hours in advance in order to avoid a late cancellation fee. However, I understand that illness and/or emergencies happen and I allow a one time late cancellation before charging your credit card. You should also be aware that multiple cancellations, late cancellations and no shows will result in discontinuing services. If we work together, you will receive my full cancellation policy in writing before we begin.

I see infants and toddlers, and most of my clients are short term. If I feel that your child will need ongoing services for more than a few months, I will refer out.
